Ministers will suffer from the cut-backs, along with everyone else! - Intrepid reporter, Inchcock Chambers, got this statement, by Sir Spooninmouth Uppercrust, from the House of Commons, this morning.
"Does the proletariat really think that we will not suffer from the cutbacks? How can one expect to get the same return from investments, Swiss Bank Accounts... and the back-hander's will definitely be lower for the foreseeable future! As for our expense fiddles, they have really put the mockers on them too now!"
He broke off to light a cigar lit for him, and have another glass of Bollonger La Grande Annee poured for him by the Hungarian waiter. Then continued, after scratching his nether regions: "Even my stock broker is worried, and the second Rolls will have to go, oh yes, we will all suffer, I'm telling you!"
Another waiter approached Uppercrust, and spoke quietly into his ear - and the MP, got up almost in a rush, spouted about urgent meeting at the cricket club, and shot off - without paying the bill.
Reporter Inchcock did not have enough cash to settle the account.
We are currently trying to arrange bail for him.
