whale meat again

Ten year old, Chloe Hickinbottom has arrived on the scene at the perfect time. Her performance of "White Cliffs of Dover" on Britain's Got talent has resonanted in some unlikely places.

The Labour ex government want her as their pin up girl. As they invoke the Dunkirk spirit, and press our ships into service to bring home the stranded tourists, what better than to have a ready made mini Vera Lynn. The oldies will love it, mums and dads will say, how cute and Lord Mandelson just has to meet her.

Lord Kitchener, he of the famous poster, "You're country needs you" would be delighted to find such a natural sweetheart. The Royal Navy, preparing for the mass rescue of UK nationals, have a new innocent symbol.

And don't forget the World Cup. English fans will be dusting off their WWII CD's as they reminisce of times gone by. A footballing nation comes together by remembering a war every 4 years. The Great Escape, Steve Mc Queen , Douglas Bader and now a new wee angel to inspire. Lovely.

And Susan Boyle will breath a sigh of relief and exclaim, the pressures off, give Chloe her fifteen minutes of fame.
