Top telly chef Marco Pierre White has been sensationally banned for life from Seth's Chippy in Leeds Road Bradford. The ban came following a heated argument between Marco and chippy owner Seth Friar over cooking times, the quality of the produce and materials used in the cooking process.
A witness to the banning, Bobby Zelmut 63, told how a simple argument over standards threatened to spill over into fisticuffs:
"I come across em rowin as I went for me usual haddock and chips. Marco were doin a lorra shoutin an fingerpointin an then Seth just lost it. He come aht from behind counter an he pushed yon chef feller reet aht inter street like. Tha knows? He dunt mess abaht dunt Seth when he's geet is dander up - he goes reet for t' jugular."
Michelin starred White's manager refused to comment on the incident, but chippy proprietor Seth Friar told us:
"Too bloody reet ah chucked him aht. Who the bloody ell does he think he is comin' inter my shop tryin ta tell me ow to cook fish and bastard chips? Yer know worree said? Cheeky bastud only went and tole me ah were cookin it up all wrong an tharrawer usin wrong type o' drippin. An he said e wont convinced it were even proper cod neither. So ah chucked the cheeky twat aht. Ivvy thinks e's comin ere agin fo fish an bastud chips he can go fuck skittles. The poncey twat."
More as we get it.
