Investigations into recent cuts at a Leeds Infirmary have revealed that the standard of care may not be what it once was.
One patient, who did not want to be named, said, "Yes there have been cuts, but to be fair to the staff, they have been working hard to help where they can".
Although no official statement was provided by the hospital, I was able to reveal how these cuts were having an effect.
When a bandage was removed from one patient, it was clear that damage to his arm was a hospital cut.
"I'm supposed to say it was part of the operating procedure but I can tell you now that I sliced this open on a loose tile in the bathroom".
Further proof, if it was needed, that cuts in hospitals are having a direct negative effect on the patients they are supposed to be treating.
