The British couple jailed for kissing in public in Dubai, have mounted an appeal against the one month jail term they received.

It is understood that new evidence stating that they were not kissing, but in fact were merely passing a passport from his mouth to hers in an effort to prevent Israeli Mossad agents from stealing it.

The new evidence is likely to heard this week.

In a statement today by someone who has nothing to do with the British pair said 'They are innocent victims, and this new evidence will prove to the court that they were merely following the British governments instructions, that great care should be taken with all travel documents, particularly passports '.
