image for Gordon Brown Election Swan Song
Arrested busker was dearrested once the paperwork had been filled out

The Labour party's judgement was called into question this week as they decided to bring back Tony Blair to launch their campaign for the forthcoming General Election.

The move, which has turned even more voters off the integrity of our democracy, has led to a stampede in newsagents to what people perceive as "real news" about Katie Price.

One voter who is still interested was seen busking briefly on Parliament Square singing:

"Gordon Brown, elected by none
Let us down, with our money he runs
Thinks it's alright
To put Blair in the fight
He's such a clown, that Gordon Brown

Every crisis just like the last
Swept away and no-one outcast
Hides his real plans
Ties up our hands
He makes me down, that Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown thinks we're impressed
Taken our country miles from it's best
He thinks it's OK
To do things his way
We're gonna drown, with that Gordon Br..
"

Unfortunately the voter did not get to complete his song in full. He was arrested and bundled into a riot van as it is illegal to protest peacefully anywhere near the Houses of Parliament.

Make Hartley's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
