image for Brown & Darling Arrested after UK national debt doubles
The money was just resting in my account

Gordon Brown and Alastair Darling, were both arrested by detectives from Scotland yard in the early hours of this morning as Britains National Debt is set to pass 2 TRILLION POUNDS. Brown the former Chancellor, and Darling the current Chancellor, are now being questioned by police because over a trillion pounds is not accounted for. This incident will make
the MPS expenses row minor in comparison.

Apparently when questioned by police both Brown & Darling said the same thing "I didn't do it",and it now appears they are blaming each other for the missing TRILLION POUNDS.

Police believe that the some of the missing money is lying in Swiss bank accounts which is being investigated at the moment.

Father Ted from Craggy Island has commented on the incident by saying "they will probably just say the money was resting in my account".
