image for Uma Thurman in tears as ITV have Killed Bill

Uma Thurman was in tears last night firstly she discovered that only one person turned up to see her new Movie Motherhood, at the Apollo cinema in London's West End,then she found out that ITV have killed Bill.

The Bill the popular police series which has run for 26 years is to be killed off after it was revealed there has been a massive slump in viewers for the drama which had recently drawn only 3.5 million viewers. Its still 3.5 million more people than went to see Uma Thurmans new Movie Motherhood however.

ITV chief Peter Fincham said "Its costs £30 million pounds a year to make this drama but due to the slump in viewers we are no longer prepared to pick up the Bill".
