A pooch has made a little old lady rich beyond her dreams. The dog, talented in many ways died, came back to life and then died again. Now some months later the BBC has commissioned a documentary detailing his life.
Mrs Hubbard now stands to cash in on the fact her dog could literally sing, dance and perform musical instruments! "It all started when I went to the cupboard and it was bare," said the skint bint. "At that point I popped to the bakers and when I returned my dog was dead," she said. When I returned from making the burial arrangements to my astonishment he was sitting there laughing at me.
It was not long after this that the dog took up smoking a pipe and performing acrobatic tricks," mused the old lady. But more bizarre feats came to pass.
"The dog later displayed a tendency to play the flute and dance a jig. At this point I knew I had talented hound on my hands so I started a diary. The dog helped out by feeding my cat and reading me the news when I couldn't find my glasses.
Eventually we both took up spinning to while away the hours before one day the dog dressed himself up and died," Hubbard remembered.
The documentary will be shown in the summer titled 'Old Mother Hubbard.'
