image for Megabux compensation as Huntley blames Venables furor
Human Frights Act legislation means a hefty payout's on the cards

Durham - (Rioters): Convicted child killer Ian Huntley could be in line for a seven-figure compensation payout after blaming anti-Jon Venables hysteria for a vicious knife attack that saw him rushed to hospital yesterday.

The 36 year-old killer told fellow inmates at Frankland Jail that 'Slasher' Jack-the-Knife who attacked him on Sunday wanted to carve 'Venables' on his neck following a canteen spat over the recent Jamie Bulger furor.

Huntley's attorney is to file under the Human Frights Act in a deposition claiming prison officials did nothing to protect him against nutters in the nonces wing.

Sunday's attack is the latest of nine on the Soham murderer who reckons he's become a magnet for anti-Venables and Thompson hysteria.

Some fellow inmates however say this is baloney:

"They hate Huntley becasue he's an evil tosser who squeezes priviledges out of the screws," Slasher Jack's cellmate commented.

Moors murderer Ian Brady is in solitary at Ashworth Psychiatric Hospital.
