image for Houses of Parliament in Toilet Roll Shortage Shocker!
Discovered inside the disabled toilets in the Palace of Westminster

In a blog written today, it has been disclosed that the Palace of Westminster came extremely close to running out of toilet paper. There were only two rolls left in the entire building left and it would mean that MPs would out to 'rough it out' and use strips of newspaper. The only problem being that the MPs could not decide on which newspaper to use.

Ann Drexx, spokeswoman for the House of Commons said; "because MPs are restricted in what they can claim for, everybody thought it would be ridiculous to put a claim in for bog roll. We are going to get in touch the Master of the Rolls and get him to organise an urgent appeal because within a few days the matter will reach critical and MPs will not be able to do their jobs properly and no white papers will be passed through the system - perhaps it is about time that we wiped the slate clean!"

It is reputed that MPs even had the nerve to raid the disabled toilet where the two rolls were lying on the top shelf. Apparently, they've been there for about three years because wheelchair users cannot reach them.

Make norma snockers's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
