image for Pentagon hacker: US spooks hiding what happened to Maddie
A bent UK ex-spook was arrested last week after pocketing half a million quid from the Find Maddie fund

London - (Daft-as-a-Brush): Secret European listening posts in George W Bush's warrantless wiretap program may be hiding something.

That's Pentagon hacker Gary McKinnon's best bet as thousands of hours of taped phone calls were locked down in a top secret US military archive bunker.

"Yeah, except that the Royal Navy humbug-buster submarine HMS Preposterous accidentally stumbled on Bush's paranoid scam," a fly on the wall of McKinnon's legal team commented this weekend.

"And accidentally-on-purpose copied surveillance files before the Chinese could tip the wink to their Pentagon implants!"

The claim has reignited many UK tabloid fears, mostly that 'there was always more to the McCanns' before tragedy struck their 2007 Portuguese holiday.

Leading conspiracy analysts have placed the couple as CIA/MI6/Mossad/KGB double agents.

And UK National Poisons Unit sources even reckon Gerry McCann may be Prime Monster Gorgon Brown's secret lovechild.

Madeleine McCann vanished from an Algarve holiday resort some two and a half years ago.

Last week a bent UK ex-spook was arrested after pocketing half a million quid from the Find Maddie fund.

Former Bush Veep Dick Cheney has run out of cardiac bypass options.
