No, from today onwards and forever more, the Met have confirmed they are happy to go with the simple term 'racist', to more accurately reflect the organisations character.
A official statement from the Metropolitan Black Police association has confirmed the dropping of 'institutional' in favour of plain 'racist'. In the 400 page statement, the MBPA stated that they felt this change more accurately reflected the daily experience of their members.
Earlier in the year Jack St War, the inJustice Minister, confirmed that the 'Met is no longer institutionally racist'. From these earlier comments it is clear there has been a period of 'positioning' prior to today's announcement.
Despite the general acceptance of this frank and honest self criticism, the Association of Chief Police Officers has condemned the move. Stating the general code of Police denial as grounds to refute allegations of pure racism within their ranks.
A video, recently released to youtube, illustrates the typical racist behaviour within the force. In the short video the officer can be heard screaming 'F*ck you ABO' directed at an indigenous Australian member of the public.
The BNP and Nick Griffter have welcomed the open acceptance from the UK's largest Force, that Policing in the UK should have strong racist undertones.
The Home Secretary, has also roundly supported the change. Citing a growing acceptance within the public sector that foreigners are 'not really welcome in the UK' and public bodies should be 'more truthful'. Mr Johnson also commented 'what's the fuss, the announcement only confirms what we've known for the last 60 years!'.
