Lowton Led Secret Life

Impresario, bon vivant and mastermind behind TheSpoof.com took a fall from grace this week as he was sentenced to two-hundred years in prison for a speeding ticket twenty kilometers over the limit on the M1.

Lowton refused to pay the fine given by the traffic officer at the time of the infraction as he believed that the speed limit was mis-posted and he was in the right.

Upon arriving for his hearing at a court with a jury Lowton was surprised to find the jury was made up of three of his ex-girlfriends, one ex-wife and a mistress who conspicuously were all wearing the same one-eighth carat diamond ring Lowton gives to all his paramours.

Judge Bertram Wickham, who heard the case, agreed with Lowton's case and was willing to let him off Scot free however the jury who were all dating or married to Lowton at the same time would have none of this and overturned the judgment insisting on a sentence of five-thousand years behind bars for the scoundrel.

"Nay judge, don't believe a word from that Lowton. We gave him the best years of our lives and we ha little but these worthless rings to show for it, he promised us we were in his top twenty the lyin bast**rd."

After a long struggle, much shouting and a tussle Judge Wickham managed to gain control of the angry ladies and worked out a compromise sentence of two-hundred years.
