image for Brown grows balls after Spoof campaign
Gordon Brown with some of his mates today

Gordon Brown, British Prime Minister, Irish Republican Sympathiser and notorious player of the pink Oboe, has made a massive back-peddling motion over Libyan support for Irish Terror gangs.

Revelations that the Prime Minister previously told campaigners it would not be "appropriate" for him to get involved had sparked outrage, and had sparked Spoof authors to start taking the piss out of the spineless premier mercilessly.

Mr Brown has now said he will provide dedicated Foreign Office staff to assist the victims when they travel to Libya to seek talks with Colonel Muammar Gaddafi within the next few weeks.

Diplomats at the British Embassy in Tripoli would also accompany and advise them, he said. That would be once they had managed to tear themselves away from the toothless whores of the Tripoli Bazaar.

Libya is being targeted for compensation because it supplied the Semtex used by republican bomb-makers in their campaign of terror against the UK in the 1980s and 1990s. A Campaign that Brown and his Republican mate Tony Blair had attempted to rename "a legitimate attempt to return Northern Ireland to its rightful owners," until they were told that as a pair of C*nts it was highly unlikely that such a move would get them re-elected, even by an electorate as gullible as those in the UK.

Speaking in Berlin amid talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Mr Brown said: "I have now been advised that I do actually care enormously about the impact of legitimate Irish reprisals on victims and their families and on our communities."

But he said the Government judged the most effective means of seeking compensation was not through direct official negotiations with Libya, but by supporting the families' legal battle. Not least because Brown remains a spineless, quasi communist tree-hugging Irish Republican.

The US has already secured compensation totalling $1.5bn for American victims of Libyan-sponsored terror. But then whatever else you say about the US they do have balls and their Govt tends not to let tin-pot dictators roger them. It is also highly unlikely that Barack Obama ever raised money for terrorists when he was at University, unlike Blair and Brown.

Before the offer to help, the PM had come under fire in Sunday's papers for a being an utterly foetid c*nt over a letter he wrote to lawyers for the British victims last year.

The letter said it would not be "appropriate" for ministers to press Col Gaddafi over compensation because it might jeopardise relations with Libya and also because Brown was not prepared to lose out on a trip to the Tripoli Christmas Bazaar.

Downing Street rejected suggestions that the PM was a spineless traitor to the nation, who would rather support dictators and the IRA than the families of terror victims, oh and that he had been fearful of undermining lucrative oil and trade deals.

Mr Brown's close Cabinet ally Ed Balls said the overriding objective was to encourage Libya to co-operate over terrorism and nuclear proliferation. But to always remember that Irish Terrorism wasn't really terrorism unlike those nasty Arabs.

The PM added in Berlin: "I think it is clear that we are finally taking some action, sadly after the horse has bolted and people have seen me for the feckless, ineffective terrorist sympathising twot that I am. We believe is necessary to support the families in their difficult but necessary attempt to represent themselves with the Libyan authorities."
