image for G20 protester - copper looked at me in a funny way

There was further embarrassment for the Metropolitan Police force today as another G20 protestor claimed to have been a victim of police abuse.

Fanny Munher, who couldn't actually remember why she was protesting, said that a police constable clearly gave her a nasty glare. "I was hitting him over the head with a broken bottle at the time, and he looked straight at me and frowned in a menacing way."

The incident was caught on tape by another protester who was videoing the occasion. He commented, "I was just glad I was there to back up the lady's story, in my opinion the police on that day were disgusting, and it's about time they were abolished."

Ms Munher said that the incident will probably scar her for life, and is to seek compensation.

The matter is being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission who have said that it will deal with the officer extremely severely should the case be proven. An announcement is expected next week following a separate investigation into a Police Sergeant who was caught on film apparently 'thinking nasty thoughts' about Tony Benn.

Make Charles Letterman's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
