A Beijing 2008 Olympics hero is to be sensationally stripped of his MBE, after it was discovered that he had directed a tirade of racist abuse at a black actor who he appeared with in a TV advert.

In the advertisement for a well known breakfast cereal, the British Olympic gold medallist, can be heard to shout, "On yer bike", to a black cyclist, after being challenged to a cycle race.

However, it can now be revealed that the sports personality's initial response was actually, "Fuck off, you wog", a remark that apparently left negro actor Brian Flakes 'close to tears'.

This verbal faux-pas only came to light after a complaint from an eagle-eyed lip reader from Filey, who had noticed a lip-synching discrepancy.

A spokesman for the pedal pushing Jock told reporters, "He is extremely apologetic for his outburst but he isn't used to being propositioned so publicly. He wishes to let it be known that he is a community spirited individual, which can be backed up by the fact that he phoned up the police to report the bike stolen within seconds of the coloured gentleman cycling past him."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
