Following recent financial losses, a men's magazine is introducing a new slimmer version of their publication, which goes on sale from next month. It means that fewer models will be needed, and there is stiff competition for the available places. Additionally, due to the new narrower format of the magazine, only thin models will now appear.
One model, the delightful Capri from Kent, has admitted to having radical surgery to allow her to keep her place as centrefold for April. Capri, who is named after the place where she was conceived in Maidstone, has had gastric staples fitted to help her reduce her weight from 130 pounds to 112. She said she had no choice if she wanted to keep her job.
However, when we researched further, it became clear that this is not an isolated incident. Aficionados of the magazine told me that every centrefold model since the magazine's inception has had their stomach stapled.
