image for New housing rules bring joy to homeowners
Another MP claims her daily living allowance.

Following Home Secretary Jacki Smith's ruling that it's legal and above board to claim that a sister's back bedroom is your main home, enormous tax savings are now possible to the average homeowner, claim accountants.

The exact details have yet to be worked out, but it is believed that by having 2 people claiming tax relief on one mortgage, plus the savings on council tax etc. the savings will be enormous.

In another move, MP for Leicester South Robin Parslow is claiming that his great-uncle's shed is his main home, and claims £21,000 per year to live there. Diane Abbot claims she lives in a friend's coal bunker and one Scots MP lives in a cellar.
