Say Hills, Miche's Giggin With Take That! Ain't That Great

From our Washington DC correspondent, Da Man - She's made a bigger impact than her husband since he was inaugurated - Vogue covers, global press interest, fashion icon - and news has reached us that Michelle Obama is all set to extend her influence by making a guest appearance with Brit 'Chap Band' Take That at London's O2 Arena.

The First Lady has agreed to take over the reins from Lulu as the 'boys' perform the 90's smash, 'Relight My Fire'.

A White House Aide told us:

"The First Lady has considered several options from musicians to appear at various shows around the world. Although Mrs O by her own admission is 'hardly Aretha Franklin' she can hold a tune and will be appearing with the Take That guys at the O2 sometime soon.

Whilst the announcement was greeted with wild enthusiasm by Take That fans, others were said to be less than happy.

A spokesman for the Pussycat Dolls complained:

"We had her pencilled in for this eighteen months ago, then yesterday we received an email telling us that Michelle Obama had pulled out of the gig because she felt that playing pre-recorded tracks at shows was 'cheating the public'"

Equally disappointed were soul 'diva' Beyonce, and Brit girl band Girls aloud.

A spokesman for Beyonce told us that Michelle Obama was distancing herself from the performer because Beyonce's music was a 'sack of shit' - an allegation that the Austin Powers actress hotly denies.

A member of Girl's Aloud issued a statement to the effect that if Girls Aloud thought that the First Lady would be appearing with them, then they were clearly delusional.

Mrs Obama was having brunch with Tina Turner when we called, so was unavailable for comment.

More as we get it.

Make Skoob1999's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
