A women assaulted a man in a pub after she over heard him telling a sexist joke to his surrounding friends in London pub.
Florence Woodhall (age 39) leaped across the table of My Fathers Moustache, a small pub in Camden London, punching Steven Downing (age 25) in the face before getting up and running out of the pub. Steven and his friends where shocked by this action and didn't think to go after her and find out what had caused this outburst, luckily the pub owner was on the ball and caught her trying to hide in the local market around the corner.
After being questioned by police Florence said she was proud of what she had done and had this to say about it "To be quite honest i am happy with what I did, I have had enough of men always stereotyping women an sitting in that pub hearing the joke and how all those men reacted to it just made me lose it, the only thing I regret is knocking over the pint witch ruined my new dress."
"Why did the women cross the road? A more important question is why isn't she in the kitchen making my dinner"
The joke above was the cause of incident Steven said "I can't believe it! I only meant it to be a innocent joke to make a laugh between my friends, I will definitely think twice before saying something that can offend someone in public."
Although Steven has said he will not press charges the landlord of the pub has demanded payment of Florence for the peanuts that where stolen from behind the bar witch he left unattended to go and apprehend the hit and run freedom fighter.
