image for Really Interesting Conversation Overheard on London Tube
No one missed a word!

Metropolitan Line London- During the 17:45 Baker Street to Harrow on the Hill journey today, the passengers on the second to last carriage were treated to an intensly interesting conversation between an unamed and somewhat plain (but trying really hard) teen girl and her friend "Shelle" via a mobile telephone.

The conversation began just before Finchley Station and continued for the entire journey.

Apparently "Shelle" had been to Ricks (who apparently is quite fit)flat for a party and the unnamed girl, while not invited, was able to ascertain exactly what transpired during the exciting evening.

The passengers were treated to a list of guests, what each one wore, who got drunkest, who ate shrimp and then blew their meal in the loo, who was probably gay, who was probably going to sleep with Rick, and why the unnamed girl was not invited, something to do with Ricks mistaken idea that she had stolen a Jay-Z CD from Ricks flat.

Luckily for the passengers the unnamed girl was loud enough to be heard throughout the entire carriage so no one missed a word of her friends exciting evening.

Upon leaving the carriage at Harrow on the Hill, still speaking with Shelle, she was applauded by the remaining passengers who had unfortunately not been treated to the actual end of the conversation and will never know who actually stole the Jay-Z CD.

Make Paul Edwards's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
