Fine cheese cultivator, Redmond Leicester, is reportedly furious with his new nickname, 'Red Leicester'.
The childish joke had arisen after an offensively situated hole in his trousers had caused embarrassment. Observing that his cheeks had reddened, colleagues heckled Redmond and labelled him 'Red Leicester'.
Mr. Leicester was reportedly disappointed with the turn of events, having spent years cultivating a Crottin de Chavignol. Redmond said, "My reputation for cultivating fine goat's cheese has been tarnished by the developments. I've lost my job and my wife, Brie."
It all goes to show that life is like a block of cheese - hard and smelly.
