Phillip Trevors, the £240,000-a-year chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission has spoken out against those who believe racial equality has already been achieved.
"We are nowhere even close to equality" he is quoted as saying. He continued, "For centuries Whites have enjoyed privilege and superiority, so it goes without saying that there must be a similar period of reversal before true equality can exist".
This has caused outrage in Golf Clubs and Tennis Clubs up and down the country. Some had only just got used to the idea that they had to let in coloured gentlemen and people smelling of foreign food. However the Commission have already appointed a new chairman for the British Golf and Tennis Association: Mr Winston Banana joked - "Of course white people will still be allowed to enter the clubs. After all, we are still going to need caddies, gardeners and bog cleaners aren't we?"
At least we thought he was joking. But but he did not smile as his chauffeur driven Bentley pulled away from the grounds of his country manor.
Later we were instructed to leave by his policy adviser, Robert Gabriel who said we had nothing to worry about...
