1970s glam rocker Gary Glitter, 64, whose real name is Paul Gadd, is to wed My Ding Aling, a member of the 2008 Olympic gold medal winning Chinese gymnastic team.

Gary Glitter told authorities that this proved that the terrible rumors of him being a pedophile were untrue and that his lust for young underage flesh was a creation of the lying media.

Glitter made the surprising wedding announcement while surrounded by photographers, as he walked out of the local jail in London.

Gary Glitter met the 20 year old My Ding Aling while video taping her and her fellow class mates has they did floor exercises while visiting their gym on a recent trip to Beijing, China. Glitter said "We just hit it off.

"She didn't talk much when I first met her, but you would be surprised what a little candy will do to open up a conversation".

Glitter showed the excited media that surrounded him a photograph of his future bride My Ding Aling who was holding a teddy bear and wearing pig-tails. A BBC reporter inquired that the 20 year old My Ding Aling looked suspiciously like a 10 year old child, Glitter replied "The Chinese government has assured me that as an Olympic Chinese gymnast she is definitely 20 years of ago, and why should the Chinese Olympic committee lie about her age"?

The paper tried to contact My Ding Aling but she was unavailable for comment on the wedding because her nanny stated she was having a tea party with her stuffed animals.
