The now infamous flour protestors have apologised at a Press Conference before their court appearances.
Estranged father of two Ron Davies issued the following statement. "We are truly sorry for how these events have turned out. We had no intention of any form of physical protest to involve the Prime Minister. We were aiming for Prescott."
The stunt was designed to provoke a similar response to the incident during the fuel protests when Mr. Prescott had an egg thrown at him and then went on to fight like a girl. As a group, Fathers 4 Justice feel that "giving Prescott a good kicking" would give their cause a huge amount of public support.
His partner in protest, Guy Harrison, is most annoyed by the whole incident. He told reporters "Ron could have done so much better, after all he is All Sussex Darts Champion 2002-2003 and has been on Bullseye. We were really expecting a better aim from a man of that calibre. Let's understand that Prescott's a huge target, not exactly difficult to hit with a filled condom."
Mr. Prescott responded to this by saying "If they'd have used condoms in the first place they wouldn't have to bloody protest."
