Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York has seen red. No, she has not looked into a mirror, she is upset over claims by the media that her daughter is overweight.
When she was in the news, comments were always made about the size of her bum and it would seem that they now want to pick on her daughter too!
An irate Duchess told In Seine News;
"There are so many bad things happening in the world today, haven't they got enough to report on? My daughter is a shapely size 10 and to call Princess Beatrice "fat" is a downright insult - they need to take responsibility for their comments."
She added; "In recent weeks, some sections of the media have criticised my 19-year-old daughter's figure after she was photographed wearing a bikini on holiday in the Caribbean. Err HELLO…Fat people don't do bikinis! Have you ever seen John Prescott in a bikini? Is it any wonder the world has such a distorted view if it relies on such media reports?"
The Duchess, who is a spokesperson for WeightWatchers, has long been concerned about the issue of obesity and has just completed a two-part reality show to educate low-income families from Hull how they can maintain a good healthy lifestyle; simply by walking, working, climbing stairs and drinking lots of water.
"…and I don't mean Perrier water either!" she added.
