Balloting began on Tuesday with registered Spoof writers adding their votes to a seemingly growing pile, Votes were tallied and the winner's name was given to Mark Lowton, janitor and mail clerk at the Spoof International Headquarters.

The announcement was made before a packed house as the drama increased moments before the opening of the envelope.

"We are pleased to announce a DOUBLE WINNER! Let me congratulate Doctor Edward Maxwell as our double recipient!
