Much loved Irish tv and radio presenter Terry Wogan has stunned his fanbase by admitting he made a string of hardcore pornographic films in the early 1970s.
Fortunately the relative obscurity of the Irish porn industry at the time has meant his secret remained hidden until the chance discovery of old celluloid by adult film enthusiast Seamus O'Toole in a cowshed in county Mayo.
"I couldn't believe my luck" recounts O'Toole excitedly "It was like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow"
Wogan initially denied starring in such films, but later confirmed it when he was presented with evidence.
"He was young and foolish and needed the cash." his spokesman said.
The films, including such titles as The F*ck of the Irish, Tools of the trade and When Irish thighs are smiling, are reportedly changing hands for substantial sums.
Big tooled Terry, whose bulging package impressed millions when he exposed it on tv show Points of View, has long been known to be spectacularly well-endowed within broadcasting circles where he has acquired the nickname "the biggest dick in Radio" and "the second longest schlong in television" being edged out by the even more prodigiously hung David Dimbleby.
"I think Dimbleby will have to look to his laurels after this" said Wogan's spokesman "It shows there is more to Terry than witty banter and certainly will do his reputation no harm."
