The much hyped Spice Girl tour has been cancelled after irreconcilable artistic differences within the group. According to sources close to the band, two of the girls had felt that their act was not sufficiently raunchy for today's highly sexed up market.
"Basically the group felt that the show needed to be made more exciting. The edge seemed to have gone since they've become mothers and the market has moved on. Their brand of sexiness is seen as too safe."
Just as with satirical stories, soft porn appears to be the way forward in pop these days. To be popular a satirical story must be overtly sexual and the duo (who have not been named) believed the same applied for their show. The two girls discussed how they could spice up the act by showering together. They practised a couple of times on the hotel, lathering each other and gently kissing. They developed the scene further as they explored each other's body. They practised slowly and seductively taking off the other's bra and panties and letting them drop to the carpeted floor. Little moans of pleasure could be heard as they stroked each other down the arch of the back and caressed each other's buttocks.
They showed this act to the other girls, suggesting it was incorporated into the tour. There was a huge "bust up" leading to tears and the end of the show.
A spokesperson for the group said:"We have to acknowledge that pop and satire have reached the stage where naked women performing together are what it takes to be popular. In the end not all the Spice Girls could sign up to this and the tour is over"
Paris Hilton has yet to comment.
