Cherie Blair converts to Hinduism

New Delhi, India- (World Muse Bureau): Cherie Blair, wife of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, today converted to Hinduism. She visited the famous Akhshardham temple in New Delhi and took part in the traditional ceremony.

She was seen offering chilled sparkling mineral water (Natural Irish™, . 0.09mg/l fluoride, 29.8mg/l sodium) to one of the Gods , as the onlookers showed great interest in her act . Incidentally, this coincides with Tony accepting £500,000, as pay, from JP Morgan bank.

Later talking to press reporters, she said, "No it's not a sudden decision, I've always liked chicken tikka masala back home."

Asked about how Tony would react to this after she's made him convert to Catholicism recently, Cherie replied "Logic has always been my strong point. And as a family, I am helping Tony to explore the world. He is taking over the west as I take over the east and we meet at the middle-east.

"Do you think Tony's new job as a banker is God's gift to you for converting to Hinduism?" asked a reporter from Elephant News Service.

With eyes lit and smile as wide as the Gaza strip, she replied "We're a humble God-fearing family. And as I said before, logic has always been my strong point."

Meanwhile local sources say that her advisors might not have done a good job, as the temperature in Delhi is around 2 degree celsius and no God would be crazy enough to take a shower in cold water at this time, even from Mademoiselle Blair. She, they claim, has offended their God and will have to face His wrath.
