Gordon Brown to play a "Scot" in next series of Dr Who

Gordon Brown and Alastair Darling are to star in a special episode of the popular science fiction series Dr Who. The duo are set star as members of a strange race, "The Scots", which infiltrate English society in a subtle attempt to rule the world - or at least the United Kingdom.

Gordon Brown plays the role of a "Scot" who, through a series of disastrous policy decisions, brings the country to its knees. He is helped by his ever loyal henchman, Darling.

At the beginning of the episode, the wicked duo hatch a number of devious plots including bringing a major bank to its knees, making the personal details of millions of citizens available to fraudsters and freezing the pay of public sector workers.

Later in the episode the Scots are shown taking control of the world of football through TV punditry and premiership football management. Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, Alex Macleish, Alan Hansen and Andy Gray all have walk on parts.
