A four-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after falling from the ninth floor of a block of flats.
Danny Tilling suffered just a broken leg in the 130ft plunge from a flat window at Trafford Court in Salford, North Manchester.
Police said he was in a 'stable condition' following the accident on Friday night.
It is thought he survived by landing on a pile of newspapers left out by shopkeeper Sanjah Patel earlier that evening.
Speaking from her son's hospital bedside, Ms Tilling, a 28 year old MILF told our reporter,
"He's fine now, thank God, but when I saw him jumping out of the window I thought he was a gonner. I was in the middle of my breakfast so wasn't able to rush straight down stairs but Mr Patel said he fell like a true pro. He's a survivor is our Danny."
This is not the first time young Danny has cheated death. He got knocked down by the London to Glasgow Express last year and managed to walk away with superficial cuts and bruises, and in August he was the only one to survive The Didsbury Gas explosion.
"I must admit he is a bit accident prone," said Ms Tilling. "I'm beginning to think he enjoys the publicity. We have become local celebrities over the last 12 months or so. He is already talking about hurling himself out of a hot air balloon next spring."
When our reporter talked to Danny in hospital, he appeared to be in high spirits. However it was pointed out to Ms Tilling that allowing a child to play with a cigarette lighter so close to an oxygen cylinder was perhaps not the best of ideas.
