image for The Sun & BBC to go to court over future copyright

News Intermedia Unlimited and the BBC are to meet in the High Court to ask the Law Lords to rule over the issue of future copyright.

"Its very simple..." David Tench from the Law Society explains "Everyone knows about The Sun and the sun in the sky. as well as owned by Sky which is owned by News Intermedia" quipped the failed Summer entertainer.

"Under the trade Description Act when the Sun finally explodes it will then be a Red Dwarf..."

A somewhat smug BBC lawyer stated "Red Dwarf is a BBC Brand pure and simple and News Intermedia can bitch and scream as much as they like but tough tittie its ours and thats an end to it."

A Spokesman for Sky commented "This is just pure vindictiveness in retaliation for years of out bidding them. If we don't win this case then the Courts will be responsible for putting 1000's of people including 100 of hard working, honest reporters out of work"

The judgment is being closely watched by companies like Comet,Universal Studios, as well as major brands like Galaxy...
