The Whorely Arms Hotel barman said Levy snorted half a dozen lines with the hit man

London - (Rioters): A barman at the Whorely Arms Hotel in North London - where celeb patrons include Kate Moss, Prince William and Shaggy Dave the Royal Crack dealer - has said he saw Alexander Litvinenko's assassin "put some strange glowing stuff" in the ex-KGB spook's coke wrap before going off to the gents and having a couple of lines with Lord Levy.

Phil Cola, head barman at the Whorely Arms Hotel's cocktail bar, told newspaper reporters that he followed the men to the gents' loo "to see what they were up to" and walked in on them cutting half a dozen lines on the back of the cistern in one of the cubicles.

"So I pretended I hadn't seen a thing and went into one of the other cubicles before switching on the record button on my mobile.

"They were talking about "their man" getting a big surprise that night which was Trick or Treat evening, Halloween.

"Levy then said "Should shut the f***er up good 'n' proper after snitching to the cops about the cash for honors" or words to that effect.

"My lawyers have the actual tape in a secure holding facility and are handling the business side of things on my behalf."

The 27-year-old barman said said investigators had found traces of theradioactive substance inside Litvinenko's nasal passage as well as in a silver box he often carried on him "to keep his poweders dry".

Litvinenko, 45, died 23 days after being poisoned.
