image for Home Secretary "In The Dark" Over Terrorist Atrocities
"First I heard about it was in the Sunday's"

The new Home Secretary Jacqui Smith claims PM Gordon Brown kept her completely in the dark about the latest terrorist plots against the UK.

She told TheSpoof.com she knew nothing of the Glasgow airport attack until she read about it in her Sunday newspapers.

"Gordon is determined to grab the spotlight" she said, "He made damn sure I didn't hear a murmur until he had already given 60 interviews and appeared on TV."

Gordon Brown is so anxious to capture the "hearts and minds" of the British electorate that the events have been seen by conspiracy theorists to be the work of his own PR team.
