Epilepsy sufferers have complained to the BBC that the logo for the London 2012 Olympics makes them feel queasy.
The logo, which looks like a fragmented pink breakdancer, was chosen from dozens of better designs by Lord Sebastian Coe, himself an epileptic.
The BBC was flooded with thousands of calls and emails after the footage of the flashing logo was released on the internet yesterday.
Alan Fitzplenty, of the Beeb, said:
"Every one of the callers stressed that the logo was rubbish. There were some marvellous designs, but this is not one of them."
Charity Epilepsy Action said it had also received calls from worried epileptics.
Mal Grand of the charity told sufferers via the charity's website:
"Turn off the computer and go to bed."
Organiser London 2012 said it will re-edit the film which will now be used for the Epilympics which will be staged after the main Olympic Games.
