image for Cilla Black has blind date with ET

Cilla Black has stated that she has been abducted by aliens. The Blind Date host said that she was blindfolded and abducted by "alien life forms" many times in the past and that these aliens have hosted many of her shows in the mid 90s.

"When I was with them in their space ship or Dargo as they called it, they were down on earth as me hosting many Blind Date shows.

"I wasn't scared or anything. They were kind and gentle and even made me cups of tea."

Cilla also said that it was the alien's decision for her leave the successful dating show.

"They made the statement that I wanted to leave Blind Date… but I didn't. I really liked doing the show and got paid thousands for doing it. They said something to me that made me agree with them"

Although Cilla never revealed what it was that the extra-terrestrial said to her to make her quit the show but she said that since doing so her life hasn't been the same.

"Since leaving Blind Date my life hasn't really been the same. I feel older and not as young or hip as I feel I should be.

"My orange hair dye has been discontinued, which is one of the main reasons why I haven't really been in the limelight recently.

"I have been feeling really depressed and even nearly ended up going into rehab" the 60 odd year old said.

"These days I just end up spending the days either indoors watching This Morning, which I was offered I'll have you know, or I go down the local pub."

Cilla who is expected to go back into the studio to record a new album in time for Christmas called Strain From The Stars is also expected to adopt both a girl and boy from Liverpoolian teenage parents.

What a surprise… surprise.
