image for Mobile Phone Mast Has Turned My Kiddy Into A Grouse Sobs Mum
Little Mickey Munter plays in his back garden yesterday. Can science find a cure?

Distraught mum, Jean Munter, sobbed today as she told The Spoof how the installation of a new mobile phone mast in her street has caused her three year old son, Mickey, to turn into a game bird.

Sobbing loudly she said:

"It used to be lovely here before that bleedin' mast was installed but now it's terrible. I started to notice that sumfing was wrong last week when Mickey started sprouting brightly coloured plumage, but I just put it down to all the E numbers he has in his sweeties and that.

Then last night when I went to tuck him in he had turned into a grouse or sumfing. It's awful and I don't know what we're going to do!"

Bill Oddie comments:

"This is really most unusual indeed. If young Mickey has in fact turned into a grouse, then it will be the first such case on record"

A spokesman for the phone company told us:

"You can't prove nothing, right? And if you say that it was our mast that caused this then you'd better look out pal. Know what I mean?"

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh has broken the code of silence usually observed by the royals on these occasions and said:

"Does he have a little brother or sister? If he does it might be worth going round there and bagging a brace but I couldn't be arsed if it's only him on his own!"

Make Duff's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
