image for Daniel Radcliffe Crashes Lancaster Bomber Into Lunar Surface
Radcliffe behind the controls of the Lancaster

In a shameless ploy to get publicity for the ailing Harry Potter franchise, star Daniel Radcliffe has TWOCed a Lancaster Bomber and together with Ron Weazley has crash landed it on the moon.

Pop-eyed and wild haired astronomer Sir Patrick Moore comments:

"This is jus typical of the youth of today. They have no respect whatsoever and just dump stuff all over the place, including our nearest celestial neighbour. It's a feckin' disgrace!"

Boy wizard star Radcliffe told press reporters:

"It was a bit of a giggle really. The Lancaster was just parked up on the lot and I looked in and saw the keys were still in it. So I just said to Rupert, who plays Gollum in the trilogy, why not?

But once we got on the moon it was all a bit hairy and it was only thanks to a passing Russian unmanned probe that we managed to get back to Earth"

JK Rowling laughed:

"When the last album came out we worried that maybe we'd alienated our fan base but we needn't have worried. It seems that they were happy to lap up the same old cack as always"
