image for EU is "what Hitler would have wanted"
Who do you think you are kidding, Mr Farage?

A group of EU leaders - the President of the European Commission, the Head of the European Council, and the Grand Poo-bah of Brussels - have released a statement in which they admit that Brexiters have been right all along and that the EU is just a plan to complete what Hitler failed to do over seventy years ago.

"The EU has from the beginning been an attempt to conquer Europe," said the statement. "Our attempts at democracy are so poor that is should have been obvious to many of you. How can you have pretend to have true democracy without a Murdoch-controlled press?"

It continued, "EU leaders' failure to mention the war every single day - unlike the average Brexit voter - should have been a giveaway sign that we were covering up something."

The dictators also admitted that the desire to form a European superstate was not driven by efficiency or globalism, but by a pure lust for power. Emperor Schnauser said, "We are Anschluss-ing our neighbours all over again, and it feels glorious!"

Brexit campaigner Jeremy Twat could not believe the frank admission by the EU, saying, "It sounds far too believable, as if somebody from the Daily Mail wrote it for them. I suspect this must be just another cover-up."

Right-wing oddball arsehole Nigel Farage welcomed the news. "As a closet Nazi and fanatical anti-EU campaigner, I welcome our fascist German overlords. Let's rejoin the EU."

Make Sir Geoffroy Cockface's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
