At a press conference today, the UK's newest budget airline, FlyMonEasyRyanJetB2 announced a very radical model for budget airfares bringing the flight industry into a complete new era aimed at benefiting the consumer and not just chief executives named O'Leerie.
FlyMonEasyRyanJetB2, which will operate out of an otherwise unused airport in Yorkshire, or Robin Hood Doncaster as it prefers to be known, expects to be very busy, especially with flights.
Chief Executive of FlyMonEasyRyanJetB2, Bill Nomates explained that they have discovered a great way to get plenty of business, make customers happy and at the same time make themselves rich.
People booking a flight with FlyMonEasyRyanJetB2 will simply pay the price they first see see when they land on the website.
For example, on a flight from Doncaster to Malaga priced at £61, the price that the customer will pay is £61. And that price includes a luggage bag, check in, seat reservation, no credit card or debit card fee and a cup of undrinkable luke-warm tea and a curled-up 3-day old cheese sandwich that other airlines charge £8 for. And there are no boxes on the website needing unchecking to prevent sneaky add-ons such as car hire, hotel and insurance.
Mr Nomates said he was surprised that no airline had come up with the idea before. Initial reaction to the website has been exceptional, with customers showing extreme surprise - three have been hospitalised and four institutionalised so far as a result of the shock of paying the same price they first see on the website as they do when it comes to pay.
