They may as well be reaching for the moon

Leading midget rights activist and circus entertainer 'Leggy' O'Toole accused the Government of discrimination today in a row over top shelf pornography.

Speaking from his caravan outside Hull, the diminuitive firebrand raged, "I am as red blooded as the next man and demand equal rights. It's not fair that when I go to the newsagents to get my copy of 'Razzle' or 'Big'n'bouncy' I have to ask the shop assistant to lift me up to get it. This is clearly discriminitory and even criminal behaviour by the Government"

Mr O'Toole has long been an open critic of the Government's top shelf policy and reacted angrily to their recent plans to issue all porn loving shortarses with stilts.

"It's just not on," he fumed, "It's hard enough going into the shop and asking for a mucky book when you're 3' 2" high without teetering all over the place into the bargin! I'd like to see Tony Blair try and buy 'Readers wive's' while perched on a unicycle!"

And 'Leggy' insists he will take the matter to the European Court of Human Rights if he has to, in a bid to break the deadlock.

"I will fight them till my dying breath...or until I go blind ." he squeaked determinedly
