In one year's time the UK will once again become embroiled in the messy, mudslinging, farce that is the General Election. A time when politicians up and down the country tell you what you want to hear before going back on every promise they mad.
Ed Miliband has begun his attack on the current establishment by saying that his intellect was superior to David Cameron's. He said:
"What's interesting (it's not Ed please never be under the impression anyone in this country finds whatever you say remotely interesting) is that of the two leaders who could be Prime Minister, I feel I am the one with much more intellectual self-confidence"
One thing Back and to the Left new has always understood about intelligence and confidence is that if you possess both it should be obvious. You should shine out like a Phoenix The fact Ed feels the desperate need say this says to us that he lacks both traits.
Ed has always given us the impression of a Sunday league footballer teleported into a Premier league stadium. He knows what he's got to do but simply doesn't have the skill to implement it so he starts blindly hacking down all the more skilful players around him.
If Labour were to win the election it wouldn't be down to anything this man has said, it will be down to the fact that so many people can't stand the "Old Boys" club that the Tories seemingly represent.
