A Micro Pig yesterday

Tests on a major supermarket chain's Value Bacon Nuggets have revealed a micro horse meat content of between 20% and 30%, the Ministry of Food and Fisheries announced this morning. Sources of the meat have been located and are closed pending investigations by the Public Health Authority.

Micro Pigs are bred primarily for their convenient "bap sized" bacon rashers, revolutionising butty making. Micro horses controversially have no real use as they are too small to ride and taste very bland. Thousands of micro horses are known to have been bred for burger and nugget filler meat, complained Jamie Olivier, a horsemeat critic.
