image for Dawkins lambasts 'Islamic Barbarians'
Islamic Barbarians!

Atheist fundamentalist and evolution crackpot Richard Dawkins has taken a brief break from ridiculing Christians, and has turned his bigoted opinions to insulting muslims, terming them "Islamic Barbarians".

Following extremists burning down a sacred library in Timbuktu, the outspoken loon launched his attack as manuscripts were destroyed.

This is not the first time that Dawkins disdain for islam has been noted. He is on record as stating that islam is "one of the great evils of the world". Presumably another great evil would be atheistic states whose governments have slaughtered millions in the name of non-religion!

For those unfamiliar with Dawkins, he sprang to fame in the 70's as a crusader for Charles Darwin and his notion that life evolves comes from nonlife. He mocks anyone who doesn't share his beliefs, and has a fervent group of followers who buy his books and hang on his every word. Despite his zeal for the theory of evolution, he flatly refuses to discuss or debate anyone wanting to question the scientific evidence of the notion. He is more than keen though to ridicule theologians.
