The leader of the BNP, Nick Griffin, has finally revealed his compassionate side by claiming a refusal to engage in sexual acts with the opposite sex is a discrimination too far, after he put the address of a gay couple who won a landmark court ruling on Twitter.

The MEP, who came out in support of a B&B owner who refused to allow a gay couple to share the same bed in her premises, says whilst he welcomes discrimination against people on the basis of their ethnicity or colour, people displaying their own brand of discrimination by refusing to have nookie with the opposite sex was wholly unacceptable.

'Britons who go out of their way to avoid sexual relations with people they are not even remotely attracted to are threat to the very basis of law and order in the UK,' he told reporters.

'Why not spend the time wasted rolling about in bed in the most seedy fashion with someone of your own ilk, when you could be spending it lambasting the very existence of others, very clearly not of your own ilk, such as black people or Asians?'

'It's a sinful waste of resources.'

Gay rights campaigner, Peter Tatchel, said he was surprised at the comments coming from a man who is to sex what vast sheets of glacial ice were to dinosaurs.

'Nick Griffin is quite clearly a man, which as a general rule, makes him of interest to me.'

'But the recent softening of his moral affrontery leads me to believe it may be replicated in other more critical areas in the life of a gay man.'
