The Government has announced that from today sniffing is outlawed in cars. This follows a series of accidents when drivers who were sniffing crashed due to the disturbance to their behaviour.
David Cameron announcing the new law said that we are all priveliged in today's society, but 'some people are more priveliged than others' and, as a result, those underpriveliged by sniffing in cars would now feel the full weight of the law.
Police are ready to sniff out the sniffers and special patrols are ready with specially trained sniffer dogs to find the culprits. Deterrent sentences are expected and everyone is warned not to sniff in their cars.
The Daily Mail has applauded the Government initiative. 'It is about time we came down on these selfish sniffers' an editorial cried. In fact the tories have seen their poll ratings rocket with this new 'get tough' policy.
So if you see someone sniffing in their car or if you suffer with a driver who sniffs report the fact on your mobile - use a text so you do not alert the driver.
Labour are complaining that the Government has forgotten the much greater problem of the car sneezers whose steering goes astray as they shoot their germs into the atmosphere.
