image for Not Adding Up
Einstein's theory of Relativity

Maths teacher Jeremy Forrest has failed in his attempt to make off with schoolgirl Megan Stammers as French police swooped on the couple in a Bordeaux street.

The French allow 15 year olds to make partnerships with older people but it is different in the UK, with 16 being the age where young people can make up their own minds.

However, the French, knowing that the British have a different age of consent acted to prevent Megan & Jeremy staying in France - where they had not been charged with breaking any law.

UKIP have claimed that this means Britain is not part of Europe and that it shows that all youngsters of 15 would be in danger if Britain was part of Europe.

In a comment made to our French Spoof sauce, Forrest claimed that 15 and 16 could be exchanged in higher mathematics as proved by Einstein's theory of relativity. This shows that years bend when they meet in a relatively close relationship.

Whatever the case we can be sure that Megan Stammers will now be a celebrity who, whatever her age, will be exploited with relish by the media.
