Holidaying off Torquay with family and friends, Nasher White has reported seeing groups of strange creatures floating and splashing about on the surface of the sea whilst making loud, shrieking calls as if sick or in trouble.
Recognisable by their white skin, these ungainly creatures appear far more suited to a life spent on land and it is suggested that serious overcrowding might be the reason that such large numbers have suddenly taken to the sea.
"And it's not just here in Torquay," said Nasher. "Reports are coming in of sightings in many other coastal areas."
These animals are clearly un-adapted to spending any length of time in the water and it is thought that they might pose a real threat to marine life if they die or succumb to disease. Neither is it felt acceptable for such creatures to suddenly invade the long established territory of others and upset the balance of nature through uncontrolled population explosion.
As a result, an organised culling is to be arranged.
Nasher is asking all other sharks to join in, especially those who enjoy a real blood bath.
